I think so! The evidence against the accuser is overwhelming! And it has caused alot of emotional suffering for those guys from Duke. Why is it that prosecutors seem to have immunity from the law? Obstruction of justice is a crime!!! Yet it has been said that Nifong may not face any punishment for his crime. Hopefully those students will sue!! The guy deserves the most maximum sentence possible! I have nothing against law and order; but when people who enforce the law commit crimes, the punishment should be greater for them than someone who does not enforce laws. Nothing is worse than crooked cops or district attorneys.

For me its not about Black vs. White. I dunno why race is even an issue. Its about right vs. wrong! If the evidence was on the side of the accuser then the Duke students should be punished. But in this case; evidence was withheld from the defense. Which is known as: "obstruction of Justice"! Nobody should do time for something they didn't do! And those Duke students did not commit this crime! Its extremely obvious!

When it is all said and done; if he has made a case out of nothing, then I think he should be tried.
The thing is, the families of the young men who are accused are going to sue him, personally, so that he can never recover financially.
I think the accuser will be prosecuted as well but it all depends on the evidence the DA has/had or the new one has.
However, I was in Poughkeepsie when the Tawana Brawley was flamed into a fire by Al Sharpton and neither he nor Tawana ever went to jail or even got sued personally and they did ruin a lot of fine people in the Poughkeepsie area with Tawana's rape accusations - all because she skipped school and made an enormous lie to her parents.
It is really crazy because Jesse Jackson has stated he will continue to support the accuser: even if he finds out she has lied. What sort of messed up conscious is that?

Oh, hell yes he should. The guy is so crooked and it was blatantly obvious that he was only trying to get reelected. He should be sent to prison as well as disbarred and all the remaining charges against the real victims should be dropped. I hope the families sue him for everything he's got. What an idiot.

Yes he should go to jail or prison for what he did and he should be disbarred also.(If me or you did the same thing we would be punished for it with prison for doing it) and if we are punished why should he get away with it .He is not any better or defer-ant than us.

Maybe. But how fair will it be for these "White oppressors" in a court of law? After all, they have not been proven innocent yet, their still guilty!
