Nothing is happening to you... I'm 20 and my period is still irregular... It takes time for your body to get used to it and get on a continuous schedule. The only reason to worry would be if your period stopped for several months and even then you should just talk to your doctor who would probably say nothing is wrong... so don't worry

If you've been bleeding for more than a month, there is something going on, but none of us could tell you what it is. Please talk to your mom, or another woman you can trust, and tell them what's been going on. You really need to see a women's doctor - a gynecologist - to be examined and checked. Bleeding for more than a month can have a lot of bad side effects on your entire body, so it is important that you don't wait too long.
It can be embarrassing to talk about these things, but your health is more important than being embarrassed. It can also be embarrassing and scary to have a gynecological examination. You should know that it shouldn't hurt, and you do not have to be alone with the doctor and someone should even be able to hold your hand, be that your mother or a nurse.
Please don't wait to talk to your mom or another adult woman that you trust.

Please don't worry yourself sick about this. You are very young and your body is still changing. However you should go and see a doctor and don't be afraid to speak freely to Him/her . They have had much experience and can help to put your mind at ease. Maybe ask a trusted female family member or older friend to go with you .Some girls skip periods entirely when they first begin. Everyone is different .Just make sure you go and see a doctor ok.
take care : )

Poor thing, thats awful. I think the only thing medically to be worried about would be becoming anemic from the loss of so much blood. When I was 14 I went on the pill just to regulate my cycles so I wouldn't bleed so much, my parents were kinda wierded out about it at first but they realized it was the answer for me.

Sometimes (especially at that age) your period becomes very irregular. The best thing to do is go to the doctor and they'll probably give you contraceptive pills (dont get scared lol it tends to regulate it) When i first got my period, I was very irregular and I ended up going to the doctor and they gave some medicine (cant remember, it's being a while lol) and it has being normal ever since.

Unless you are bleeding heavily or are in pain, just wait it out. Your body is trying to regulate and is not used to your hormone levels yet. If you are really bothered by it. Make an appt with an OBGYN, it couldnt hurt. (they are not as scary as you think)
