Last week I was carrying a box and i think I may have held it wrong and ever since that day I have had pain in my right wrist. It is on the right side where the bone sticks out. The pain has been subsided to a dull pain, but if i push the one bone closes to my palm one way and my other bone the other i get terrible cracks in it. Can anyone help me on what I should do Is it time to see a doctor? What can I do right now

Thank You!

GG is right, ice until it aches and ASA if you can take it, to bring down inflamation.

It could be a strained tendon, they sometimes sound like they're cracking when they're too mobile and snapping across the bursar pads. I don't know if that's what you've got, but your doc might, go see him/her and don't wait too long. Often untreated injuries like this can become chronic problems, if left to heal badly on their own.

Check it out to be sure.

Ice it until the ice causes an aching discomfort. Keep icing through that. The next sensation will be a numbing relief.
Make that appointment with the Dr. now though.

Try the above, and an Ace bandage, not too tight, just to limit the movement until you see a doc. See if ibuprofen helps if your able to take it. Pharmacies even sell wrist braces until you get seen, just don't wear it all day every day until you get seen, and stay off the computer! lol

If you use computer than you must see a doctor & get it checked for Carpol Tunnel Syndrome.
