A topic that people are talking about, but not something too new or you won't have enough resources. You also don't want something that everyone has written on either because then you will have a hard time coming from a new angle. It also has to be something you are interested it. For example, say you are interested in wine. Let's say your subject was history. Maybe you want to research the way wine or alcohol has developed or changed or perceptions of it have changed throughout the years. Or if you subject is science, you can research the chemical brakedowns of alcohol, etc. Find something that you are interested in, in general and try to adapt that to your subject area.

Inside the mind of a serial killer. Is it genetic, hormonal, biological, or cultural conditioning? Do serial killers have any control over their desires? Are they are virtual slaves to beastly appetites. What sets them apart?

Serial killers have tested out a number of excuses for their behavior. Henry Lee Lucas blamed his upbringing; others like Jeffrey Dahmer say that they were born with a "part" of them missing. Ted Bundy claimed pornography made him do it. Herbert Mullin, Santa Cruz killer of thirteen, blamed the voices in his head that told him it was time to "sing the die song." The ruthless Carl Panzram swore that prison turned him into a monster, while Bobby Joe Long said a motorcycle accident made him hypersexual and eventually a serial lust killer. The most psychopathic, like John Wayne Gacy, turn the blame around and boast that the victims deserved to die.

Killer topic. How Free Trade is killing the American way of life by bleeding jobs to overseas corporations funded and set up by US companies that have now left our shores. 4.5 million jobs, 40,000 companies in the last 5 years.

Why does my wife allow me to sleep with other women, as long as she can join in?

She's not gay, but she is a damn fine wife.
