Hotter than normal? That depends on where you are from. Here in Colorado and throughout the much of the south, southwest and west it is much colder than usual. The Northeast is much warmer due to El Nino conditions in the area.
The last such conditions existed in 1998 and marked the turn of the Global Warming patterns that had been seen since the early to mid seventies. Contrary to popular belief, the world is in a cooling pattern and has been since the 98 El Nino. Does this mean it will get even colder now? Very well could be!

Depends on where you are-some places have been warmer than usual, but others have been colder than usual. It snowed in Los Angeles-now, that is crazy! As for why-people have toyed with the earth's environment for too long with all the destructive technology and pollution and it is reacting.

This is my 9th winter in Montana. It is the coldest one since I have been here. Cold, really cold.
P.S. the earth has been undergoing a general warming trend since the last ice age (about 15,000 years ago). Without warming, we would still be in an ice age, and my house would be under a 1000 foot thick glacier.

what are you talking about? its unusually cold here in southern california right now. it was even snowing in parts of southern california in places that doesnt usually gets snow.
