The point of yahoo questions (when discussing celebrities) is to have fun seeing people's answers. People don't have to care. Why do they bother answering if they're gonna say that?

I totally agree, I think sometimes they just get eager to get the points and don't care about the questions they answer or how they answer them.

A lot of people take it to far when they talk about their favorite celebrity. You should see some of the questions that are usually posted:
1) What is [celeb's name] email address, phone number, etc.

2) Don't you agree that [celeb's name] is hot?

I usually answer,"Who cares", because people don't really know what they truly like about a celeb beside them being rich, famous, or considered hot. Another thing I would like to add, what does idolizing a celeb get you in life? It's not going to help you be a better person or make you rich yourself. Besides, aren't you suppose to worship your God and no one else?

I think that the point of the 'who cares' in this situation is more of a 'what makes them so special' kind of who cares... They are no better or no worse than anyone else. Why do we need insight into their every move and thought? Why do we have the need or desire to intrude on their life more than anyone else (not in the spot light). In other words - Get over their celebrity status. It only causes their heads to swell. Who cares what color Nicole Richi's shite is.

I guess the "Who cares" answer corresponds to the just as prevalent, "God doesn't exist" answer. Why people think that anyone wants their opinion when it does not answer a question, i do not know. I think it may have a lot to do with living in mom and dad's house and using their computer and having no pride because they have never accomplished anything. This is what being a 'spoiler' comes from a lot here i would guess.

It's fun. It's fun to yell at celebrities. It's...satisfying. For instance, I hate Beyonce. She's being dejected for every award connected to Dream Girls and I couldn't be happier. :)

Why? Just because. That's your answer. It's just...because.
