Nah...The energy and excitement of the fans is more than enough to keep the players hyped.

No hells no i dont think so. I mean i love to see half naked hot gils shaking there A S S s and B o o bes but that will be a disturbing. also people wont look at them while soccer game is on. I mean come on who would wanna watch thos stupid girls with stupid little moves while the soccer game is on infront of you. unless you are not a soccer fan then you should go strip club first hand cheerleaders. works

what's the point of having cheerleaders at any games anyway??
they serve no purpose to the community nor do they contribute to the winning of their team (except maybe spending the night with the players to get them all pumped up to play the next day)..
all they do is wear skimpy clothes and get all dolled up and do acrobatic movements..
they look stupid to me..
and cheap..
the idea of having them at games is solely to attract men and of course to increase ticket sales..and that's it..
u know what they say..sex sells..
it's a disgraceful idea and it's without a doubt a type of discrimination against women..
btw..do u really need others to help u cheer for ur team??
where's the fun in that??

I think it would be great, but the style would certainly reflect the ethnic and cultural values of the countries. Certainly this would exclude certain countries from participating. Unfortunately, as I would very much enjoy seeing exotic women in this milieu, I don't think the concept of "cheerleaders" as we know it translates internationally :( Maybe we could at least try to convince Brazil to participate....

Hell no! I can barely stand cheerleaders in the U.S. Its unfortunate that some people even consider cheerleading a sport. We all know where the roots came from.

No, the sport is doing just fine without them; the fans are the best possible cheerleader for the sport.

Good lord no. The lack of is the one saving grace that keeps the sport from looking all pomp and ceremony and keeps the class of the sport in tact.

Hell no! There are already enough girls sitting around watching the game. More girls on the field would get the players' attention and the games would suck!
