By 6 months, you should get much more than a positive test. You should have been to the doctor, had blood tests done, urine tested for protein and sugar, seen the baby on ultrasound/sonogram, heard the baby's heartbeat on a doppler and during the ultrasound, felt the baby kicking, probably started to show (possibly not even being able to fit into old clothes anymore). By 6 months, you're two thirds through your pregnancy, you shouldn't even need a home pregnancy test to know if you're pregnant or not... Where have you been the last 6 months?

If nothing else you could look at your stomach and it should have some change by now if not just very hard from your uterus. Also an absence of your period for 6 months is a sign. Go to the doctor for prenatal care.

actually as ur pregnancy progresses it can be common for ur homone levels to go down so yes u could get a negative test if u dont use a test that has a low level of hcg hormone in it its happened before to a friend of mine so im pretty sure .

Of course you would. I don't know anybody that took another test after they found out they were already pregnant.

If you were 6 months pg you'd be able to feel the baby moving. Also you would be sticking out & your breast should have enlarged.
