When I was staying in Moline I usually stayed with my mother, but she is now passed on. So go for the Radisson on John Deere Commons. Getting around on buses is not very difficult, but cabs are few, pricey, and slow to respond. Nice polite friendly drivers in my experience though. Rent a car when you can. On the matter of the Quad cities and attractions I hope you like John Deere things as a matter of personal interest. You got the Museum buildings the store the other revived manufacturing buildings and shops in the neighborhood and entertainment complex. Its really a company town even now. Moline is the only town that I know of that has a Belgian Ghetto. To be fair there are lots of Midwestern historical places up and down both sides of the Mississippi and there is always The River itself. The Life line of America. There are gambling boats. 19th century architecture, Mom and Pop antique stores, Regional food. Ask the concierge for tips. Its just not got that exciting, big city bustle so I hope you can enjoy small pleasures. There plenty of those.

I find the best place to stay at if not a resort is the Radisson. I have stayed there a couple of times and everytime they are the best. Don't get me wrong cheap hotels are nice but I love the Radisson. Radisson is probably the safest, and is closer to all the attractions. They tend to have more restaurants and things to do around them. As for the resort that is cleaner that is the Radisson hands down. I have never had a problem with them.
