I think they're fine, I know the owners of 2 different ones. They ask 25% plus listing fees.

It's worth it if you are not internet savvy or don't want to spend weeks learning the ins and outs of Ebay just to sell one thing or one group of things.

It can take a whole day to write and photograph several listings, and then choose your options and do the html to get the listing to look right without buying extra services. Then once you get it listed, if you haven't sold anything before, buyers will look suspiciously on you. Then you've got to learn to pack and ship it quickly and professionally or they'll come back on you.

So if you're only going to do it once and if it's a high ticket item or group of items, they are your best way to go. They will not take your items if they don't think it will make enough money to be worth their while.

I am a fulltime Ebay Powerseller and I would tell you to sell them yourself. I personally don't like selling for others, and stopped doing it a few years back. Most assist to sell Ebay sellers are going to ask for 35%-50% of the final sale. If you research on Ebay what you want to sell, you can get a good idea on how to sell your item(s), and get a feel for what the Ebay market value is. In my opinion, I would only use A to S if you can't be bothered with setting up an account, don't have the time, and if you only have a few items of limited value. If you have further questions, you can look me up on Ebay. Seller account (jcam14). Good luck!

If you are trying to sell anything on ebay, I think that you should do some research and sell yourself. Why would you want to share the profit with someone else and pay all of the extra fees. You can go to your local book store to purchase books on selling on ebay or attend the ebay university workshops, you can even read the discussion questions on the ebay forum about selling items.

Being a seller on Ebay myself, I think the places are a rip off. They charge you like 30-40 percent of whatever item you are selling. However..... If you really don't mind getting ripped off like that and just want to get rid of something, then they may be the way to go, it leaves the hassle out of your hands. Personally... I'd want that extra 30 %

Hey. One thing that I do is I look at similar items that other sellers are selling. I look at people that have high numbers (meaning they have sold a lot). Then, I look at the ones that are receiving the most bids. I study their pictures and angles of their photos and look at how they have "advertised" it and their description. I then take this and create my auction in a similar fashion. Always start your auction at a lower price, and then it will begin to be bidded on. I always have luck after doing my homework. When you are about to post your picture, first assemble your photos in powerpoint, then right click on the photos and save all as one jpeg. Then you don't have to pay extra for more than one picture.

A few are legitmately trying to be helpful, but the majority are trying to take bucks out of the bucks you may make on ebay.

Ebay sites will assist you & let you keep most of your money.
Some help may cost a little but at least you know you are dealing with the real deal.

Probably #3. Some may be better than others. Depends how well they package the stuff, and how much of the profits they reap.
