Editorial Topic?

I need to write an editorial paper for my creative writing class and i have no idea what to write about...any suggestions??

When I had to do that for my journalism class last year, I wrote about how my city keeps building houses while shutting down schools, creating overcrowded middle and high schools. I don't know what the situation is in your area, but things like this have always seemed to work for me and my friends in the past.

Write about something that you have passion about - perhaps shopping, the books you like to read, an exciting experience, the difficulties you face to write this editorial paper, something that you loved to do, and so on.
