If you hate it, then it's not for you, I, on the other hand, really enjoy seeing things as they really are. I agree that certain things look better the old way, but I feel this is because we have become use to seeing certain things as Hollywood makes them look.
For example, I notice that closeups on people may show the blemishes, discolor in peoples faces, hands, etc. Models have been airbrushed for years. and we saw PERFECT skin, eyes, hair, etc.
One the other side of the picture, The scenery, is fabulous, those things that were perfect are actually more perfect.
Too Bright, There is a setting on the TV that you can adjust to make it less bright.
