My aunt, who is more like my cousin, decided to wear a white dress, even though she had kids. We are good friends, and I said, "so, someone decided to wear white?". Of course she knew what I was getting at. She told me, "yes, but I am wearing black panties underneath it.!". Do what you want, no one with any taste will say anything about it.
In the immoratal words of Susan Surandon in Bull Durham, when the team's "mascot" was getting married, "Honey, we all deserve to wear white".
I'm a man, and am not sure what that means, but wear whatever you want.

I think that a woman should be able to wear what they desire. Most women go with off white or beige if they remarry, but the significance of the purity in a white gown has lost alot of power. So, in short, wear whatever you please.

White is a color of celebration, and a woman getting married has a lot to celebrate. Finding love deserves a party! Finding love after the dissappointment of a failed marriage deserves LOTS of celebrating!
First marriages are sometimes rushed into, and/ or entered into by people who don't know themselves or their partners very well- they're chasing an illusion, which sometimes ends in disaster. The second time around you're older, wiser, and more prepared (one hopes).
Bottom line, wear what makes you and your honey happy on your special day!

She can wear whatever color she wants to wear. It used to be that traditionally a first time bride/virgin wore white. Now tradition has been set aside and personal preference has taken it's place. I know first time brides who have worn black "gowns" on their wedding day. It is the bride and groom's wedding they get to decide what they wear.

Well, they say that you wear a white dress only and only if you're a virgin at the time of your marriage. And not all Christians follow that so maybe you should just ask around your place and find out what the done thing is.

She can wear whatever color she wants, but if she's going to go by those ridiculous standards, off white or beige would be fine.

I would say the majority of brides these days are not virgins when they marry (even if the husband is the first man they've been with), and they wear white, so what's the difference? You're a "virgin" in the "ceremony" sense for that man.. if you want to rationalise it.

The white wedding dress symbolizes virginity. If a divorced bride wears white, it will allow silly people to gossip and put her down for her silly choices.
She should wear whatever she wants to her wedding.
