America is not ready yet, for a solution to the iraq problem?

the problem is huge for Iraq. It is large for America, moderate for europeans, potentially large for the midle east, for mankind ? unknown.
Why would it be good for the sunis and the shias to stop killing each other. If they then, get rid of the americans, that would be good for them.
If they do not get rid of the americans, that would be just as bad as killing each other.
Imagine, have to listen to Dobs or Tuker every night. That is enough to want to die.

I just saw the film "Why We Fight" and it was revealing in its portrayal of an often overlooked reason for this fiasco in Iraq; the military industrial complex that Eisenhower warned us about 50 years ago. Misplaced Power (i.e. the Bush Hooligans) have gotten their hands on the control levers of this thing and they will not let it go until they have squeezed the last drop out it. Anyone who looked at Bush and Cheney and Rumsfeld and somehow saw compasionate souls in the mold of Jesus were taking the kind of drugs only the most addict could even imagine. These guys are just bad, bad actors who have come onto a stage with no directors telling them what to do. Shame on us silly, non-caring Americans who thought they could vote for these kinds of people and expect anything greater than what we got.
