Yes, it does! I like restaurants that aren't chained owned...I think it's important to support local businesses, and when one closes down it ticks me off, because then I'm thinking that some corporate place is raking in the bucks, while the family owned is tanked. Doesn't seem fair....besides, the food is always better at a family run place, don't you think?

Oh yes. There used to be a chain of restaurants called Po Folks that I like. The had great catfish and suddenly they were gone.

So many family run businesses provide better food both quality and quantity wise...and in many cases the preparation of such prepared foods take a little more time as to provide hot fresh from the grill items and foods..
We live in such a face paced and time restricted world that we restrict ourselves to the lesser values in life and not just in the food industry.....we need to slow down...a bit....
Receive and enjoy some of the greater pleasures in life as simple as ........stopping once in awhile and smelling the flowers ....especially the Petunia's....Have a nice day!!!

Yes, There was an awsome mexican restaurant the next town they went out of buisiness.

Yes it does. That's happened in my town. This little Italian place had the best cheese bread and I went to order some and - no more Rosa's. What the heck happened?

honestly that hasn't happened many times to me, but just thinking that that could happen makes me appreciate the food even more. soo savor every bite.

not really. there must have been a good reason it went. and i wouldnt like it or go there again if it reopened because of it.
