I'm totally lost with this stuff!

rewrite these equation in intercept form:

y=5/3-1/6(x+4)

-5x+4y+3=0

-4(y-3)+3(x-1)=8

it would be awesome, if someone could help me.
alegbra can be so confusing at time!

heres how you do them:
y= 5/3-1/6(x+4)....distribute the -1/6
y= 5/3-1/6x-2/3....simplify
y= -1/6x + 1....ANSWER

-5x+4y+3=0
4y=5x-3.....moved the -5x and 3 over to the other side
4y/4 = (5/4)x - (3/4).......divided both sides by 4
y= 5/4 x - 3/4....ANSWER

-4(y-3) + 3 (x-1)=8
-4y+12 +3x - 3 = 8...distrubted the -4 and 3
-4y + 3x + 9 = 8....simplified
-4y = -3x - 1....moved the 3x and 9 to the other side
-4y/-4 = (-3/-4)x - (1/-4)
y = 3/4x + 1/4...ANSWER

hope this helps

the form is y=mx + b
where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept
is that what you meant?

if it is then your equations will be:
y = -1/6x + 1
y = 5/4 x - 3/4
y = 3/4 x + 1/4
