In the US no fast food place makes good french fries.
For the best fries go to Belgium (yes the country in Europe) and get some from a street vendor. They have the best fries. They are double fried for a crispy outside and tender center. Then they have huge selection of sauces to eat with the fries. Garlic and Paprika are my favorites.
The US fast food fries with ketchup just do not compare!!!

Actually I think Rallys or Checkers has the best french fries. They are actually seasoned and are extra crispy.
As far as Mc Donalds and Burger king, they used to have good fries when they fried them in Animal fat back in the late 80's and early 90's. Then all the health people got on their case and they switched to low fat Vegtable oil.
IMHO, when you go to any fast food resturant your not going there to eat healthy, so they should do what tastes right and fry them up the way they used to in Animal Fat.

McDonalds because Burger King is too soggy (some of the time) Wendy's is all right, and Taco Bell doesn't have any.

Either McDonald's or Five Guys. Five Guys cooks theirs in peaunut oil so it's (slightly) healthier.

In & out burger in so cal. They make them fresh strait from a raw potato and fry them in peanut oil.
