My wife thinks so, altho I do not think it has any effect on her having kids right a way, after stopping condom use....

no it doesnt, its a completely external form of birth control, not like the pill or patch which are hormones affecting your body.

Condoms are supposed to be 99% effective if used correctly. So.... If you use condoms properly every time, the theory is that you have a 1% chance of getting pregnant. Therefore,the effects of using condoms are that you have a 99% chance of not having kids and a 1% chance of having them. This is the only effect that they have. Nothing to do with fertility, because all you are doing is covering yourself with something, and trapping the sperm so that they can't get her pregnant during that "session". It does not affect fertility any more than abstinence!!!
