no. just make sure that if you want to keep your score, TELL COLLEGEBOARD ASAP!!! i don't know where it is online, but on the paper registration packet, there's some fine print that i didn't see when i took it in ms... it says that if you want your ms scores to remain on your record, you hafffta let them kno by the end of the year you take it or something, or they'll automatically delete the score...

yeah so if you like your score, make sure you tell them!!!

the traditional SAT score degrees in the 1500s. 2200 + is generally elite status like harvard, princeton etc. 2000+ are nonetheless tremendous colleges besides the undeniable fact that. sure obviously there is an chance, there is continually room for an progression. The extra you're taking the SAT, the added accustomed you're to the attempt, and the added useful you'd be at handling some time and determining solutions. A 1720 is a respectable score, of route room for an progression.

I took the ACT for the Duke talent identification program when I was in seventh grade. Trust me-not a problem. If you do well, you could get invited to a really nice awards ceremony and then you get information in the mail for all sorts of summer programs. You can do any of them or none of them-your choice. I think its a good to try either SAT or ACT now. That way when you're in high school taking them "for real" they won't seem so scary. ( I got a 29 on the ACT when I was in 7th grade, so when I took it again, I wasn't worried at all.)

Considering that I didn't even take the psat until I was 16, I think its pretty strange. 13 years? so your not even in high school yet. And Duke, one of the best colleges in the country definitely hasn't been tracking you unless you know someone who works there who can get in in. Even if you play a sport, they don't seriously recruit until the kid is in high school. Sounds like a lie.

If Duke is going to accept a 13 year old, good for you. You can take the SAT, but remember just taking it doesnt guarantee admission.

Ye, that's a prob.
U r too young to take SAT... U wouldn't be able to take on English words from SAT and the MATH questions as well..
I just took SAT I and had to study 3000 more college words... If u can do that and study all the high school math, maybe u can call for a test.

Go ahead and take it, but don't feel obligated to go to Duke. Go to high school if you want to or to a different college. Take your time. If they are that interested now, they will still be interested in you when you graduate from high school. Enjoy your adolescence, you only have it once. It is not always easy after you graduate. Good luck to you on the test.

It's not bad for a sophmore, but you need to increase your score to get into a good college. I got 2 perfect scores in math and reading, but my writing score was only 720, for a total of 2320. I only read this SAT guide, and that is how I got such high scores:

I recommend this guide to anyone seeking to get a higher score to get into a first choice college.
