I have 2 deskstops and 2 laptops. I want to limit the time for the student internet access from 7:00 am - 10:00pm M-F only. I also want to limit the speed on her laptop so she can study more instead of palying on her internet. Thanks

Ive got a router that has time settings and speed limits, but those are mainly for the wired ports, although you could plug your other wireless router in the wired port and use this router to control the speed and access times that the wireless units get to use.
its a draytek vigor 2900g its a great router, but its also about $150.
that particular router does allot of stuff its very extensive, it also has a built in usb network print server, that part is great for printing from the laptop from anywhere in the house.
they have other models also that are less expensive but still have rate control.

i bought it because my roommate whom i was giving free access to was downloading music as fast as he could, while plugged directly into the router and denied it completely, and i couldn't even get on line with my wireless laptop at all, so i bought the draytek and limited him to 256kbps,he gets to download and i get to use my computer, and he has no idea what happened to his connection.

good luck

Sorry but that can't be done with SOHO class routers. Something like Net Nanny or Cyber Patrol would do the trick, though. You'd need a copy for each machine that you want to control access on.
