All of my friends are either having babies or have had babies and I don't feel the need to bring another person in this world to go through life, like I did. On the other hand I would want to because I believe I have pearl's of widsom and all of my books need to go to someone and what if they invent the cure for the common cold or the cure for all STD's or the cure for AIDS?

By the way I don't want a kid, right now I'm not sure if I'm mature enough for the kid, I have been to college, have a good job, and I've seen most of the U.S.; not the world, anyway, I'm not asking if I should have a kid or not. I'm more or less asking how do you think it makes me feel when everyone is going on about their children when I don't have any. And, the people who do are my friends. And, what do I tell kids when they ask why people are just being rude to them?

Well being a mom.. is the best and hardest job in the world.. Planning on having a baby is a very big deal. You do not want to have a child, just because every one else is.. Get you life stable, with or with out a husband (you need to be able to support the child and yourself if you doing by your self).

Sure the child can do many great things.. think, ponder and pray and you will do the right thing.. Good luck and take care.

The worst reason in the world to have a baby is because you feel left out because everyone else is having one. When the time is right for you, you will know it. Maybe you don't feel the need right this minute because you have more to do before it's right for you. Every new precious life is so full of possibilities and your child will be no exception. Give yourself some time, persue your dreams, who knows maybe YOU were the baby born to do something wonderful.

Don't ruin your life by having a baby when you are young and unmarried. It will make your life so much harder and it is unfair to the child. Get an education, get a good job, get married and then save and plan for a child. That is the best way for all concerned.

I think we'd all like to think our kids would solve the problems of the world (to make up for our lack thereof, most likely), but I don't think you should have kids out of a sense of obligation just because your friends are doing it, or because your kid would be so cool and bookish and brilliant. Let's face it - you'd be stuck with that kid for at least 18 years, no matter how cool or bookish or brilliant he or she was (or wasn't!), so you had better really want that responsibility for yourself, for your own reasons, not because of any sense that you "should."

If you are not sure whether or not you want to have a baby, then you shouldn't. I am sure that you realize that it is not something that you can just return if you suddenly decide that you liked your life better before. My suggestion would be to get a dog first and see how that goes.

Think of the kid, he/she needs a mom & dad and lots of love from both. Wait until you're sure you are ready. If you have to ask this question you're not ready yet.

Thats a kidna dumb reason to have a kid. Have a kid to love them for no matter what they choose or do, not because you want them to be some famous hero or discoverer.
