what is the difference between love and addiction?

You can Love someone and miss being away from them; but when it drives you crazy being away from them and you have to be with them everyday..that's addiction!

I would have to Say Addiction is something that if you don't have a substance or a thing around you get sick . Or something that you just had so mush fun doing that you cant stop doing it. Love is something that no matter how much fun your having at anytime things can turn sour and you will still fell the so called addiction. No matter what the circumstance you will still want to be with that person. Just like a poker machine that stops winning you move to the next one. With love there is only One and you know it.

Love is more then just a feeling it lasts and addiction really has nothing at all to do with love.... Love is unselfish and kind and addiction is based on selfishness and only on what you want and not the other person.

addiction is a bad habit to have and you can't stop it ! love is not an addiction or a habit you must have and can't stop ! if you think you love someone and you think your addicted to them then you have a serious personal problem and would need counseling ! Because that is not Love !

I dont imagine love is an dependancy. and that i dont understand what do poeple mean by holding "authentic love" and only "love". it truly is both love or no love ... thats it!!! Love is not addicting. Love is all about another's well-being & is free.
Addiction is all about yourself & you feel you need this other(person, drug, etc) in order to survive. Quite frightening, if I must say so.

sometimes not much. both can be harmfull to your health in certian cases.
