if they have passed a section of the exam, have no accounting experience, but worked 40+ hours per week while taking a full load of classwork during college?

its possible, but your GPA counts a lot. Best thing to do is to attach and send them a work you have done that shows of your skills when you apply. If you done so, then do the work and attack a note explaning your situation and your interest, and send it to the person incharge of the aplications.
