You can use it, but it will automatically slow down to the 266 speed, or possible even the 200 speed depending on what your FSB is. But if the 400 is cheaper than the 266, get it, it will work.

Yes, you can use this motherboard for your 400mhz DDR RAM. But... you will not get the higher 400 speed potential since the motherboard is set at 266mhz. So in answering your question yes the memory will work but in my opinion you could get a motherboard that can use the whole 400mhz for a good price.
