I just have one question
who put these stones up and why is not covered on TV
and are the Bilderberg group responsible for them as some links suggest
The origin of the stones is clouded in mystery because no one in, or anywhere, claims to know the identity of the man who ordered and paid for their construction. All that is reported at the Elberton County Museum is that in June of 1979, a man went to the office of the Elberton Granite Finishing Company and said that he wanted a monument created to "transmit a message to mankind." He identified himself as Mr. R. C. Christian, a pseudonym. Nobody really knows who the man is that went into the Elberton Granite Company that day, but through a little research a few things become apparent, and the New World Order is written all over them. It is important to note that in an engraved plaque placed in the ground near the stones, it explains that the stones are to be "Guides to an Age of Reason." Reason as found in Deism. (See Deism) The 10 new commandments of the Guidestones are as follows:

The Commandments

1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.

2. Guide reproduction wisely - improving fitness and diversity.

3. Unite humanity with a living new language.

4. Rule passion - faith - tradition - and all things with tempered reason.

5. Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.

6. Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.

7. Avoid petty laws and useless officials.

8. Balance personal rights with social duties.

9. Prize truth - beauty - love - seeking harmony with the infinite.

10. Be not a cancer on the earth - Leave room for nature - Leave room for
Nature.

I don't know what you mean by "hoax?". Those stones are as real as can be. I've walked up to 'em and slapped 'em. They aren't paper mache. They are pretty much the max size and weight that could be quarried, and transported according to D.O.T. regulations and the technology available. Even the granite industry was ashamed that that was the best they could do, since many peoples in many places thousands of years ago cut, moved, and erected much bigger rocks.

The guy paid real money to have this stuff quarried and carved in Elberton, Ga. A lot of contracts floated around, swearing those involved to secrecy.

What's wrong with those guidelines? I kinda like #s 5, 7, and 10. The earth will take care of #1 soon enough.
