I’d like to mess up my computer. I’ve got windows XP and the administrators account. The problem is, Norton’s is insane. The other administrator account is in control of Norton’s. I need a virus or something lethal that would make it necessary to reinstall windows, without being able to salvage anything…maybe something that deletes all the files, gets rid of the internet (its running internet explorer, doesn't the winnet.dll...idk), deletes drivers, etc…any suggestions? If your answer sounds anything like, “don’t bother,” or, “wouldn’t recommend,” just don’t answer.

Wow, dood sounds like fun, I'm interested in helping you, I want to know why you want to screw this up tho, it sounds like you dont like the other guy? I'd like to help you though, contact me on BigCardinalsFan@msn.com instant messenger if u can.

Actually something I would suggest if you cant contact me, I've always heard that one wrong slip in editing the registry could cause so much harm to a system that it couldnt be recovered, and often wouldnt be able to start.
So go to run.. type in regedit.exe once ur in there, itll be a browser sort of view, and just open up keys and delete everything you can especially if it looks important. and oh if you can just delete EVERYTHING theres like 5 main roots and if you can just delete a whole root in one click that should be good, but I dont know I've never tried deleting my registry before lol.
have fun!

Reformat the hard drive. Put your Windows XP cd the cd drive and restart the computer. Then it will ask you if you want to reinstall the operating system. Do a full install. It will format the hard drive and reload Windows XP. You will have to reload all the programs you want back on the computer.

I think you are taking the wrong route to rid yourself of Norton's control. Why don't you just go to Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs and remove Norton from your computer. That will give you total control as administrator of your computer.
