when i put my ps2 games on my ps3 on my big screen the video qualtiy is bad is there something wrong with my ps3 or is this normal?

Im sorry besides the undeniable fact that the more recent ps3 with in reality 2 USB ports ( those they make now) can no longer play ps2 video games. The ps3's with 4 usb ports might want to. it truly is a shame. i'd only save the ps2 and save up for a ps3. in case you opt for to purchase the older ps3 your perfect guess is ebay/ craigslist.

It's normal. PS3 is high definition, PS2 is not, nor are the games that were originated for a PS2

remember the ps3 is high defenition so your ps2 are most likely set 480i so this means the ps2 games are almost in high defenition only ps3 games can upscale to 1080p the highest resolution available to date
