there is an EXTREMELY MINUTE possibility of this happening
because for this to happen, the following needs to happen:
- the same chromosomes need to be selected during spermatogenesis (all the sperm therefore need to be the same)
- during oogenesis, the egg in both mothers needs to be split into half (if two eggs are made - which is more probable than splitting into hald, btw - fraternal twins are born)
- the conditions in the mother's womb also affect the development of the baby...and i'm not talking about stress, fear, and such external forces, but there's internal ones too...like hormone levels, etc.

so yea, this is virtually impossible. also remember that genes are not the only thing that define you. a person might be born in europe with the same exact genes as someone in africa, but i can assure you, they will look different.

They would not be identical; identical twins only occur when one embryo divides (one egg/one sperm). However, because the children of two sets of identical twins would have many genes in common, they might quite possibly be similar in appearance.

It is very, very unlikely. Events such as crossing over and independent assortment during meiosis will ensure differences in offspring. Similarly, if you have two children, those two children will be different from each other for the same reason.
