Here is where the game is actually stored

C:\WINDOWS\system32\freecell.exe

create a shortcut to your desktop from there. don't drag because it will move instead of copy. right click the file > send to > desktop (create shorttcut)

The game is in your c:\windows\system32 folder (or c:\winnt\system32).

Right click on your desktop, in a blank area, and choose New, then Shortcut . Browse to the c:\winnt\system32 folder and find freecell.exe . Choose that, click OK.

Go to Start -> settings -> control panel -> add/remove programs...on the left hand side select "Add remove windows components" from there you can select Accessories
Than you will select "games", Click on "details"
Unselect freecell, than chose "OK".go back into it and click on freecell....than click ok, this should re-install the game

You may have accidently put it in a subcategory of one of the programs in the start up menu. If not go to microsoft.com to download the game pack that originally came with your computer.
