In the batman series and movies, who killed Bruce's parents? There may be more than one answer due to plot changes from the series, comics, and movies, but try to post some proof of some sort.

Originally, it was just a pair of street thugs; the movie made it so it was the Joker

In the original Batman comic, Bruce's parents were just killed by "a mugger". There was no name.

In the Michael Keaton / Jack Nicholson movie from 1989, they changed it so that the mugger was actually the Joker, before he became the Joker.

In Batman begins, it was just a mugger again.

It would all depend on the source and the movie you are watching. In the original series, the Waynes were killed by Joe Chill. He was hired by the infamous mobster Lex moxon because Thomas Wayne testified against him and he was imprisoned for it.

In Tim Burton's direction of Batman, he had Jack Napier kill the Waynes and he then became the Joker.

In Batman Begins, they returned back to Joe Chill killing the parents.

Intersting fact...the time of the Wayne's death is always 10:47 PM. To enter the Batcave, the hands on the grandfather clock had to be turned to 10:47 =')

Using only movies the original batman movie has the Joker killing his parents.

However, in th latest movie his parents are killed by a mugger sent out by Ros M Gul.

You pick the answer you like.

I think it depends on the version you're watching. In the Michael Keaton Batman movies, his parents were killed by a young Joker. But in "Batman Begins" it was someone else. I don't know who killed them in the original comics.

In both the comics AND Batman Begins it's a guy called Joe Chill but in the Tim Burton Batman film it is the Joker before he becomes the Joker....

There are a bunch of different answers. In the comic books it was some random thug--i believe they did give his name, but it wasn't anyone who turned out to be a supervillian.

In Batman (1989) it was Jack Napier before he became the Joker, in Batman Begins it was Joe Chill, random thug

from what i remember in 1 of the Comics i read when i was younger his parents were killed infront of him by someone who was robbing his parents and then Batman came and caught the mugger when he was i think when he was called The Robin. i think he was The Robin before he switched to The Batman. and then the kid he adopted later on became Robin. but Comics and Movies always change details with it over the years...

In Batman Forever, I think it says the person who killed Bruce's parents was Two Face.

As you say, and answered above already... depends on what you are talking about movie franchise wise, and in the comics timeline wise.

Your basic answer is a mugger named Joe Chill. Here is a link that explores how that has looked over the comics and movies:
