I am currently enrolled with Kaplan University. I love the classes. No real books are required because you use books called eGuides. The professors are very thorough and laid back. They extend tutoring for basically anything you need help with. Tutoring sessions are free. The professors hold online seminars. A seminar is kind of like being in class, but online instead. It's kind of like instant messaging someone. You receive your answers or comments at the moment you ask. I am enjoying the experience. It is so much better than a classroom because everyone is at home where they are most comfortable. I am loving it!!!!!

Kaplan is a good educational company. They've been well-known nationwide for test prep services for years (ie. giving courses to prepare people for SATs and such). They also own SCORE!, which is a tutoring program like Sylvan. However, their online university is fairly new. If you were pursuing a dgree in something online, I would definitely recommend going with a program based out of an actual physical university somewhere instead. But as far as taking a few classes to help you gain skills to advance in your job or become more educated on a particular topic, then Kaplan would suit the need. The course would probably be great and give you a lot of good information.

Yes, I am currently enrolled. I've been enrolled since last March, and I have to say that out of all of them, I love Kaplan the most. The instructors are very good and laid back, but the work is still challenging. In my opinion, an online degree should be more credible than an the traditional because they make the work harder. Anyway, they have help in just about every course you can name and the atmosphere is very laid back. I feel that I made the right choice and I am getting the best education.
