Could scientists really create dinosaurs from fossilised DNA? Or is it a majorly flawed bit of Hollywood science?

It's not likely...but it is very close to reality which is why Michael Crichton is an awesome author.(He wrote Jurassic Park and the sequel, The Lost World) I think if viable DNA could be found, it might be possible, but I don't think any DNA found could really be in prime condition. Mosquitos metabolize the blood they consume to be able to lay eggs...so chances are slim that they would harbor enough to use. I'm not saying it's impossible, just very unlikely.

I dont think they can create dinosaurs using their DNA, the techology at the moment is still way lacking until they can reproduce or produce clone of a dinosaur.. it's just majorly flawed bit of hollywood
