Use a different soap or shaving cream, make sure you're using a sharp razor. Please - do not use Nair, it will burn more!

I use medicated body powder after i shave my armpits. It helps get rid of the bumps and it relieves the razor burn you get.

I would try changing my deodorant/antiperspirant or changing the shaving cream or soap that I use. Maybe try just not putting as much pressure while shaving.

A cold wet flannel. Fold it into 4 quarters and sit it under your arm for a coupla minutes. Oh it sooth trust me!
