My Ex and I are ready to optain a divorce. We both hold residenceies in Florida. We've been seperated for a year and a half. I'm in the Military but still hold a resident in Florida. Now we have no kids and no more property together so the divorce will be uncontested. My question is can we optain a divorce in Florida with both of us out of the state? Or will we half to appear in court? What will something like this cost? I was also told you can do this through the mail. If there is anyone with knowledge of this it would be a great help.
Thanks

If you're in the military, I suggest you go to the base or post legal office and ask. Its free!

I guess you're in the Army because you can't spell. (Its spelled obtain not optain) Try using the spell check dummy, you make the military look bad.

try and do a search on the FL court websites...I think you can file the papers yourself and save a lot of money. If you do it that way I dont think you need to appear in court either_
