Set up your sale will it will be seen by people right away. If you get hot set up a fan next to you. It won't be as good as air conditioning but it works. You can pick up these round neon circle stickers almost anywhere you can find office supplies, that will work for pricing. As for pricing use your best guess as to how much someone would pay for the item. You won't get what you paid for them, so just make your best guess. And always be willing to go down on your price a little people will try to get the best price they can. Like I would say the sombreros you could put like $20 to $25 on them maybe a little more. Make your best guess. Make sure you put up fliers about a week before your sale stating the time and date of the sale and some of what you will have in the sale. And don't for get to put where the sale is at. Also make sure you have a change box with quarters, ones, and fives. But however many you think you may need.

The best tip I have is when you advertise it list it as a 1 day sale only and you'll have so many customers you won't know what to do. Listing a time to start and close it is always good and always try to have a table with a big sign that says FREE and when people stop to see the free junk they will look at the other stuff.

Planning it around the weather makes a big difference. Hardly anyone will be out if it's raining. Also, you could check if any of your neighbors are thinking about having a garage sale. A neighborhood garage sale attracts a lot of people.

Yes there is I have a garage sale a couple times a year.one is advertise.
make sure your things are clean
make sure everything is organized where everyone can see your stuff.
use those colored stickers with the prices on them.
Hang up cloths on like a cloths line on hangers.
Books and cd's sell well .
Kids cloths sell real well separate them like boys and Girls.
I sold Hot coco and cookies last year and made a bundle.

Price to sell, no one goes to a yardsale to spend alot of money.

Have it on the weekend / advertise it, with othere if you can / have your yard marked with balloons or something / have prices marked
