im going to buy a new ipod video and i was wondering if i should get the white one or the black one....

I got both actually lol.
But I prefer White because it would match my white tee.

I have the black one and tell you the truth it gets scratched very easily. You can really see all the little scratches and wear marks. I have personally had mine in a very soft and safe case for it all this time and it still looks terrible. I'm thinking the white one, if it is as non-scratch resistant as the black one you will see it a lot less. I personally like the color black but I would ask around to some people with the white one and see if they have the same problem. Looks like they didn't spend the extra money on making it scratch resistant. Good luck.

I have learned from experience about the black ipod....it looks good for about a week till it gets scratched up......get the white and then buy a black case. Nobody will everk now the diffrence and you dont get a sucky scratched up ipod.

I personally prefer black because it looks sexy and modern. The white looks very generic. The only thing about the black iPod is that the finger prints are easily visable, but you just need to clean it every so often.

I have a black ipod nano and i like it because it does not get dirty as quick as a white ipod

The black guyPod shows scratches worse than the white girlPod, but the white one shows dirt worse. It's a tradeoff...except that you can (and should) get clear screen guards to keep them from getting all scratched up. So get the black one.

in the experience that your finding for sort decide for the 30gb, i advise while you're purely figuring out to purchase it for stylem its gentle black is the place its at, yet once you adjust your ideas and % an IPOD for a reason %. the white 80gb

the black ones show scratches and dirt easier.....i have a white one and i like it a lot more than the black...stick with the white
