When considering notebooks. What is the best for my application?

Question

I'm a university student and i major in Computer Software Eng, therefore i do software i.e. C++,Java,etc. But other times i listen to a bit of Music, Do Blogging, Create Websites, Work with Photos and all the bit and pieces like play games etc. Oh yeah i like to do Graphics later as well. So yeah reading this you could probably say Macbook Pro, but will it satisfy my need, Can it run windows Vista or XP efficiently? And Hence be able to run my programming aps? Also i have to consider weight cos i travel with my work a lot. A wrap up of the question, I need a notebook computer that i can run my programming aps, work with my entertainment, able to run graphics software in the future and on a side note It has to be Light and portable. I have so far looked at the Sony TX series, Macbook Pro, and Dell. So please feel free to give me models and etc, Price aint a problem for me,

There comes a point where you have to sacrifice weight for computer capability (power, speed, graphics). If weight is a problem, I would recommend not getting a laptop with a high-end graphic card (Intel's GMA should suffice for most entertainment purposes, unless you also do intense gaming which would require an upper-end graphic card, which equals more weight). For processor, get Intel's Duo Core 2 or AMD's dual core solution. For processor speed, probably 1.6 or 1.8 GHZ is sufficient. HD space you'll probably need at least 80 gigs (running at 7200 rpm if you want the speed). And get at least 2 gigs of RAM. And the best way to get what you want isn't to buy pre-made computers; go to Sony, Dell, HP, Apple, etc and custom make your own.

classic laptop.- I choose small moleskin notebooks. They slot in my pocket and tearing the paper out, would not mess with the binding. It also would not go away little products of paper all around the floor. even as pondering a laptop laptop.-I in basic terms purchase the most inexpensive one. The technologies is advancing so quick, that if I were to spend $1500 on a laptop laptop now, in a three hundred and sixty 5 days an same laptop might want to value $800, and function a higher frustrating force, more effective RAM, brighter exhibit. and so on. In yet another 3 hundred and sixty 5 days i might want to get a much more effective perfect laptop, for more effective or less $350-$four hundred funds. I really run a mess of snap shots courses, and digital audio workstations, on a laptop I paid $500 funds for a three hundred and sixty 5 days in the past. that is quick adequate, and powerful adequate, in basic terms about by no ability crashes, and works high-quality. The frustrating force is in basic terms about finished, and that i max out the processor each so often, yet it truly is because I have a mess of impressive VST pluggins, (reverbs quite in many cases) which eat a mess of processor %.
