There is a website called www.HTMLGoodies.com Try looking down the left side of the web page for a link marked "Tutorials". Its a supposed 5 day tutorial to learn how to make a basic web page using notepad. If you try you can probably do the whole thing in a few hours.

Use Notepad (it comes on every computer free of charge). Save it as (whatever name you want).html. Then upload it onto a web server.
