I like Dr Ruth, I like lots of people who aren't qualified for president. How about Oprah? Lot's of people like her and she at least could put together a good team of advisors. Both have better things to do than be President. Could we draft Colin Powell? We couldn't elect him because he would refuse to run. WE would have to draft him and we can't.
That's the problem here, people fit for the job can't get it or won't take it, and the ones that want it, prove they aren't fit by the very fact they want it.

I am pretty sure Dr Ruth is prohibitted from running as she is not a native born citizen.
To the person who suggested Dr Laura: "Oh my god! No!"
I will go with Barak Obama, Hillary or John Edwards.

I like Dr. Ruth, but we have a few rules about who can be president, and she doesn't quite fit.
I'd vote for Oprah. She doesn't take bullskit.

Really. Maybe she could talk some of the uptight politicians into some solo, to de-stress them. Cheney looks like he could use a few good strokes. Poor guy.
And maybe she's be successful in getting contraception to teens.

Dr. Ruth was also a terrorist in her day. She was right there when Israel was fighting for nationhood.
