You've been taking the pill for a long time, and missing one pill shouldn't make a difference. Take a test if you're worried, but I would say you don't have to be concerned.

The day of the missed pill shouldn't be a problem; Doctors usually say that it can take a few months for the hormones to decrease enough to allow contraception- but every case is different! As long as you took the pill the next day you should be fine; That's what they tell you to do in the pamphlet that comes with your pills every month anyway. For future reference though, some antibiotics can make your pills less effective, so you may to use another form of contraceptives while you're taking them. Your doctor should be able to tell you if the medications will have any effect on your pills before he prescribes them. Also, many pregnancy tests won't work until after you've missed your period, but a blood test should be able to give you results now if you're truly concerned and need an answer right away (Although I think you'll be fine).

Hope this helps, and good luck!

One missed pill isn't usually much to worry about when you have been on the pill that long, but missing a pill in the week after your pill significantly increases the risk of ovulating as you already have a low level of hormones. The antibiotics can futher reduce the effacy of the pill. Wait and see if your friend arrives, and if it doesn't arrive as scheduled, take a pregnancy test the week after it should have finished.

Trust me if your pregnant the test will tell you, even if it says wsait two mins. well if you are prego it will tell you in seconds sometimes. And it doesnt matter how long you have been on the pill for. If you miss a day. The next day double up, but to be safe YOU MUST for one week use back up protection.... CONDOMS. Planned Parenthood alwayssss says if u miss a pill its okay to double up the next day.... but use back up!!!!for ONE week or you could get pregnant.... even if you've been using the pill for 5 years of 2 months. DOesnt matter. BE SAFE! you dont want to get pregnant than you really have a problems.

i would wait until like 2 days before your friend should be there and check then but if i were you i wouldnt worry you have been on the pill for a long time and it takes more than 24 hours for the hormones to leave your body. So just relax you should be fine

Ur assume 2 take both even as u be conscious i have ignored the days or maybe as u get waiting 2 take ur third one, in basic terms take it on time like u might want to if u hadn't ignored those 2 days. yet yeah, u nonetheless can get pregnant....and the trick about birth control pills, u have 2 take them familiar @ an same time 2 no longer get pregnant. for instance, if u take a pill @ 3pm on Monday, u have 2 take it familiar @ 3pm, u cant take it @ 3pm Monday and then 5pm on Tuesday and then Wednesday u take it @ 2:45pm...u c what im declaring. My healthcare professional instructed me that, and now that i imagine about it....it makes perfect experience!

Those test are not that great unless you take them after you have missed your period. If you miss your next period, take the test then. The results will be accurate.
