male- Bela Lugosi, first star of a play made from Bram Stoker's novel Dracula. He starred in many movies after that.
female- Vampira, the first sexy television horror host, who starred in Plan 9 From Outer Space.

I personally liked all the vampires in "Interview with the Vampire" especially Tom Cruise's character Lestat. Gary Oldman as Dracula in "Bram Stoker's Dracula" was pretty good too. Kiefer Sutherland was pretty badass in "The Lost Boys." Welsey Snipes' Blade character in the "Blade" films was pretty badass on kicking butt level.
As for the ladies, Jeri Ryan was smoking hot as a vampire in "Dracula 2000" and so was Selma Hayek in "From Dusk Til Dawn" and Selma was also a major badass. Kate Beckinsale was hot in the
Underworld" films as Aaliyah in "Queen of the Damned."

F- they are ppl that need some kind of fulfillment in their lives so they explain this with made up needs or desires. They spout phoney facts based solely on biased one side sites that have no scientific or medical proof of the real vampire.They use true documented facts and turn the to this is proof of their existence.But the fact is in relation to a word or medical problem IE insomnia or anemia....! I think it is cool for ppl to live their life as they want to do but to say that they are real vampires is nothing more than a joke! OK, all self proclaimed vampires why do you go by a dark or made up title? Answer to justify your belief! Life- energy/pranna/chi we all know to live we must have energy(life source) but the truth to this is that if you have a strong belief or desire it will make you stronger not that you have drained someone of their energy. Blood drinking has been a practice for years so does that mean that the cultures that have practiced this are vampires?No it is cultural belief that they gain something from the person or animal the blood was from! As I have said in the past oh so many times for you witches out there put a spell on me and for you vampires out there meet me and do what you do to take away my life energy! Oh yeah and to the kind person that emailed me before on that they could take my life energy away by using a gun,so funny! I am talking about as I have heard here from a few self proclaimed vampires able to absorb a persons energy and tire or weaken them do this please.I would then have my proof you are real and not just a wannabe with no life but a made up one!!

In my eyes there is only one Vampire worth knowing about and that's Spike from Buffy. Biggest Badass ever. Then he falls in love and becomes a hero.
Female would have to be Selene from Underworld. I love how they show the vampire as the hero. The one you root for. Its a nice change to movies like Lost Boys.
