tv shows not showing up in videos menu on ipod?

does anyone know why? i had to make a playlist in video playlist for them but i want the tv shows sub-menu to show up but it wont, so please help me if you can.

any tv shows that you download from iTunes will show up in this category, but anything that's from a 3rd party (anything but iTunes) is going to show up as a movie. you need a converter program that will allow you to change the tags on the video from movie to tv show.
