Call your OB, but it could be something as simple as your body changing to accomodate the baby. Don't panic, but don't wait to call the Doctor. During pregnancy you should call them with any question and not feel bad about it at all!

This could be just your ligaments and muscles stretching for the growing baby. A lot of that will have to happen to make enough room. Just watch for signs of consistent pressure, the kind that makes your tummy tense for a bit and then release. Also, watch for period-like bleeding as well. I wouldn't worry to much yet if I were you but perhaps make an appointment in the morning with your doctor just to be sure. If you are still concerned, call the labour & delivery unit at the hospital you will be giving birth at...they should always have someone there to talk to and will hopefully be able to put your mind at ease.

Good luck...

It's probably your ligaments adjusting to your expanding uterus, you will get sharp pains and back pains while your body is adjusting. I am 23 weeks and I am considering asking my OB doctor about me seeing a chiropractor or pregnancy massage therapist, because my back hurts so bad sometimes I don't want to sit up at work! As long as your not bleeding or contracting you are cool. It's just apart of the journey

Are you spotting? Some pulling and slight pain is normal, but it should not be severe. Call your doctor's answering service and he/she should call you back.

This pain is just your uterus stretching; called round ligament pain. It is normal, but if it contiues and you have bleeding, go to the doc.

It could just be muscles stretching trying to make room for the baby. If anything talk to your dr., but I am pretty sure that is all it is.

I had the same pain, it woke me up at night and brought me to tears. I asked my doc about it and he said not to worry it's just ligaments stretching.

GO SEE YOUR DOCTOR!!!!! Or go to your emergency room if it does not ease. Could possibly just be the stretching of your stomach and what not, but it is defiantly better to be safe rather then sorry.
