65 yrs 8 mos. I do not consider myself to be elderly. Advantages are that my life is slowing down and I have more time for myself and my family. Another is the obvious life experiences that can be passed on to the younger generation. Disadvantage is the health issues that come with ageing. I am a Male, grew up in N.J. but now live in Arkansas(slower pace.)

1. 69
2. No, I'm not elderly. I enjoy a full, creative life and am in very good health. I have more fun now than I did when I was younger.
3. One of the first advantages I discovered about growing old was that I could say anything I felt like saying, especially to men—not to hurt people—and people would just think I'm eccentric. I don't mind that. I can also wear anything I feel like wearing, even sneakers with a skirt.
4. Female, of course.

1. 52 (sorry I can't help but join the survey)
2. Yes (I've felt this way since I've been 50)
3. Changes in health is the disadvantage
Life experience brings wisdom is the advantage
4. Female

1.59
2.No
3.Disadvantages, so far just that no one looks at me anymore. I use to walk outside and everyone would look at me and be so nice to me, because i looked like Sarah Jessica Parker. Now no one gives me a second look. That makes me feel invisible.
Advantages: I don't worry so much about looking good now a days.
4. female..
