I'm seventeen and i've been getting my period since i was 13. i've never had a problem like this before now.

i haven't had sex in the past 3 months that i remember. i had one drunken night. i don't remember much but i did wake up in a bed with one of my friends who is a 21 year old guy. he doesn't remember doing anything either.

Yes, you could be pregnant. Sometimes when you're pregnant, women experience "implantation bleeding" around the time of their expected period. The bleeding is usually very light... so, I suggest you head to the drugstore and get yourself a pregnancy test kit.

if you were pregnant, you wouldn't have had a period. There's nothing wrong with having a light period or even skipping one from time to time. Your body may change and this may even become normal. If you lose sleep, get sick or stressed, go on a diet, exercise more frequently, all of these in any combination can cause you to skip a period or have a lighter or shorter one than usual. Or it can be for no reason at all, just horomones and your body being individual! I'm sure you're fine.

Sometimes periods vary. If you were pregnant, and bleeding it would be a big concern. Have you switched birth control lately? I think if you were pregnant, you would know by now. But you never know, go get a test to be sure. As for your periods, if you get them montly (not on the birth control where you only get them every 3 months) Id wait and see how your next one is. If it is still not what you would consider normal for you, go get it checked out.

I wouldn't worry yet. See how next month goes and if back to normal, don't worry. If things stay the same, then get checked. Most likely not pregnant, but always a chance. Get a urine test to make sure if you want. Overall, just keep on keeping good tabs on yourself - you know yourself better than anybody else.

Good luck!

You could be pregnant even though you had a light period. My friend was pregnant for six weeks and still had a light period. Get a home pregnancy or see your doctor.

Usually your period stops when you get pregnant. Periods are sometimes affected by stress. Have you been under any extra stress lately or eating different?

Depends on how old you are. When women first begin their periods it is sporadic but normalizes as you get older.
