As I said before, I don't have low self estem now, but, I used to be..well, "good looking." I've noticed that in the past year or year and a half, i've been getting...uglier. My face is obviously going to change as I get older, but I've been looking more "masucline" in my face (i used to have delicate features and an extreamly feminine face) I have a large nose and that seems to be growing realllly fast. My eyes seems to have gotten smaller and I just don't look good anymore! To a high-school girl, this can get very frustrating. My life doesn't revolve around looks, but I really want to have my beautiful, "delicate" face back. I do wear make up (very little) I've watched my friends change into beautiful teens, (i'm happy for them!) but I would also like to be pretty again! Any tips? i would really apperitiate the help. (Please don't send comments saying things like "you're self-estem is just low, be yourself!" I'm acutally a really happy person) Thanks

Your nose can seem like it is getting bigger if you are squeezing black heads and other stuff out of it.

Your nose tissue will swell up and your nose will appear larger.
If you are doing this, stop and the swelling will go down in about a week or so.

Now , what can also be happening is that you are losing your "baby fat" in your face. This is natural and the end result will be the face that you will have as a young adult. During this process you may not like the in between look that you have at the moment, but the end result should be acceptable.

This same result can also happen if you are gaining a lot of weight. Your face may be one of the first places that the weight goes. As you reach your adult height, this weight should adjust itself.

Hopefully one of these reasons that faces seem to change will strike true with your situation.

Let me tell you a life lesson.....if you are calling yourself ugly, well, you definitely have low low low self esteem. I suggest you start appreciating what you look like now or you will make your life miserable trying to fix something you can't. You can have low self esteem and still be a generally happy person. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but you should really understand that if you don't feel so hot about your looks, your insecurity will stand out to others big time. God made you like this for a reason. God doesn't make mistakes sweetie.

Everyone goes through phases... My daughter was more delicate and went through an "awkward" phase in her midteens. She's now 20 and considered very pretty (not just by me!) in a different way than she did at either age. You will keep on changing so don't get bogged down in your appearance at this one point in time. I know its hard not to focus on looks at your age but just take good care of yourself - eat healthfully, drink lots of water and exercise. (I also wasn't at my best at that age but when I got older, I looked a lot better than some of my friends who were high school beauties!) PS Leave your eyebrows alone! Its the easiest thing to change so we all try... They do not always grow back ;(

Don't worry!!You will grow into your nose. your face is morphing from a girl to woman and your features are a little unbalanced right now, but give it some time. Try wearing your hair in a more feminine style until your face catches up!

every girl looks in the mirroir and sees what they dont want to.
But just because your face ins't feminine doesn't mean is not pretty (it in fact can be pretty sexy).

But if you just cant stand it. learn to Remake your look. Find what hair cuts will do you face best, and how to stlye it right.
you can go to beauty parolrs and ask for tips.

maybe that's juz your feeling, everybody is unique (not weird!!) and beauty is in the eye of the beholder (you think that you're ugly but maybe others are not thinkin that way) Just believe in yourself.

maybe you can try changing your looks by changing your hairstyle or try new makeup and trying new clothing styles ^_^ you'll feel better

You are beautiful, but you might consider something like sports in order to have less free time and obsess on irrelevant issues

I was wondering if your friends have noticed a difference? You might want to see your Doctor to make sure you don't have a hormone imbalance, you're probably gorgeous to everyone else..

wear black mascara to make the eyes bigger and more sexy looking, and if your skin tone dosnt match then use face powder and that will look prettier. but also remeber to get enough sleep cuz that DOES affect your looks!
