Yes, four of a kind beats a full house. The only way a full house would be a four of a kind is if you're playing deuces wild and you have two two's and three of something else (which would be five of a kind).

Everyone already said that 4 of a kind beats a full house and that a straight or royal flush beat 4 of a kind. However, I want to add that with wild cards, 5 of a kind beats 4 of a kind.
