Tell him just exactly how you feel. Don't go on ranting and raving about how he is a soldier. Let him know why it is that you love him and miss him. Tell him exactly when you think about him, that could be a certain time of the day when you do a certain thing. I would even throw in how he is the first thing you think about when you wake up. Tell him you can't wait for that good morning kiss when he comes home. Tell him how he is the last thing you think about before you go to sleep. Tell him how you long for that goodnight kiss. Tell him how these little things lets you know that soon you will be side by side and these things are the reasons why you love him.

I don't care if this a best answer, just throwing you some ideas!

Good luck and god bless the both of you. Grab faith and hang on to it. He'll be home soon!

My husband is there too so I know what you are going though. One thing I like to write about is all the small things that I miss about him or the things we do together. Like wacthing TV or waking up net to him or his smell anything that is something he will know you truly mean. And although I email him all the time a hand written letter is always nice. And if you have kids have them write or color a picture. Just letting him know that you think of him and miss him will help. That is what my husband tells me. Good luck to you both and if you ever want to talk you can email me!

Um. Well. The main thing men in Iraq are worried about is if their spouses are cheating on them. If you're not cheating on him with another, than just tell me that He's your Odisius and that you'll wait for him even if he doesn't come back.

Yes, the story of Odysseus is great. If you don't know it, check the link at wikipedia and read the section 'before the trojan war.'

Odysseus and Penelope are the epitome of married love and devotion in the face of the cruelty, senseless, and stupidity of war.

Tell him what you appriciate about him, that you miss him and look forward to seeing him again, tell him things that you look forward to when he gets home.
