There are plenty of super rich democrats... a lot of the rich in the New England states are democrats, etc...
Your question implies that being rich means you have a fun life... I would argue that fact.
Actually, I used to be a Republican and I can say that being a Republican is not fun at all and is very stressing. You stay full of hate and are constantly griping or whining about somebody else causing something wrong with the world. Republicans are against everything... everything is a fight against or stopping...

You should know that the wealthiest of the senators and other government officials are all Democrats. Kerry is a billionaire, Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Al Sharpton, Hillary Clinton, and a slew of other Democrats are multimillionaires. Not only are they rich, but some of them got their fortunes by stealing and hurting others. Kennedy keeps all of his money in an off shore bank account in the Cayman Islands and does not pay a cent of Taxes in the United States. Kerry and Clinton both have secret bank accounts in Switzerland to avoid paying their taxes. So why do you think they the real reason they push so hard to raise taxes on the American people is? It's a no brainer. THEY WANT ALL OF US HARD WORKING CITIZENS TO PAY THEIR SHARE OF THE TAXES!

I am Republican....and I am not rich by any stretch of the imagination. I am a Republican, because I believe that you should get out and work for your money, and not have some government program pay for your lazy butt to stay home because you believe just because you are entitled for some reason.

Amazing question. Just amazing.
Um....yeah. Just ask George Soros. Or John Kerry. Or Ted Kennedy. Oh, Babs - can't forget Babs. How about George Clooney? Brad Pitt? Eminem? Bill Maher? Jennifer Aniston? 99% of Hollywood? Yeah, they're really conservative.
Just say NO to drugs!

Do they now? Well just to set you straight, John Kerry and his Wife Terraca (dog face) Heinz, had allot more money then President Bush and his wife. So you might check on that little piece of info before you make a judgment like that.

NO WAY! It would be horrible to be a Republican, since that party twice nominated as its candidate, our first anti-people, anti-American, anti-God President! Also, the subhuman thing that will go down in history as having done more damage to the United States and the world than any other being that ever lived, George W. Bush. Fortunately here in America the few remaining patriotic Republicans do still have the right to change their party affiliation. Otherwise, life would be unbearable for them I'm sure.

There is nothing wrong with having money, and it isn't about HAVING money, it is about the attitude that some people have that having money makes them superior to the rest of us. It is also about power and wanting to control the masses! It is about wanting ALL THE MONEY and ALL THE POWER!!!! It is about trying turn your opinion of what morality is into legislation!!!! It is about putting the interests of the elite few way ahead of the interests of everyone else. It is about the attitude that it is possible for any person to be any more worthy...In God's eyes....than any other person!!!! This answer is not exactly directed to the asker! It is directed to some of the answerers who hold these elitist attitudes dear!!!

No, they *do not* have all the money -- they just *wish* they did :)
Plenty of millionaire and billionaire Democrats, just as many as republicans actually if not more. The big difference is that most wealthy Democrats are more generous in giving to things OTHER than political causes...such as Bill Gates (a Democrat).
