a blood test can determine many types of drugs, however, a DNA test is not required. It is not necessary to extract the DNA from the blood in order to test for drugs.

dna tests are not a full blood chemical work up. They simply extract the dna sequence and compare it to another sample. if they're doing a paternity/maternity test, no drugs are going to appear. If, however, it isn't a dna test at all, but instead a blood screening, then they would definitely notice any solutions/substances that do not normally appear in blood.

a DNA test is not testing for drugs they are checking to see commonalities in alleles (genes), they can do a seperate test if they are looking for drugs, better to do a cheek swab than blood for DNA test

If taken from you no. One cannot see drug usage from your dna test

If taken from fetus of your child, maybe.
But only in the case, if there exists some drugs which affect mutation rates in peculiar manner :-)

yes they can take blood from any part of your body and tell you ANY kind of drugs that are in your system. No matter where they take the blood if it is still in your system it will SURLEY show up.
